Stockholm-based artist Izza Gara has shared her new single ‘Be My Party‘, and it’s a subtle banger that has me fully hooked. It was actually her brilliant feature on Killen’s single ‘Fear Me‘ that first put her on my radar, and I’m happy there’s more solo music on the way.

‘Be My Party‘ is a club-driven, playful and laid back alt R&B track built around warped textures, playful rhythms and Izza’s wonderfully smooth and controlled vocals. It carries a confident, flirtatious edge that is hard to resist — and if you’re a fan of Erika de Casier, this one is definitely for you.

Speaking about the single, Izza Gara shares:

“We wrote it in a basement in the middle of the winter. Isaac was in Stockholm for a few days but we only had one session so everything happened fast. They started with the chords, I twisted it with the bend and freestyled on top and it felt very instinctive and fun.”
