I only recently discovered Norwegian alt-pop artist Iris Caltwait, and her debut album ‘Again, for the first time’ has quickly become one of my favourites this winter. One of the instant highlights for me was ‘Alchemy (Living Is Not For The Heart)’, so I’m really happy to see it get the video treatment and it’s absolutely brilliant.

The track closes her new record with this glowing mix of resilience, emotion and shimmering pop energy. Her vocal performance is full of feeling, and the whole production carries a sense of renewal that fits the album perfectly. The music video directed by Aubrey Joyce only adds to that. It’s striking, moving and another reminder of just how talented an artist Iris is.

A truly exciting newcomer, and I can’t wait to see what she does next.
