Madrid-based band Hinds are getting ready to release their first album as a duo, ‘VIVA HINDS’, September 6th via Lucky Number. Today, they unveil another single called ‘Superstar’ and it follows the previously shared tracks ‘Coffee’, ‘En Forma’ and the Beck collaboration ‘Boom Boom Back‘.

On their new single ‘Superstar’, Carlotta and Ana are slowing things a little, delivering one hell of an anthem. They sing the whole song together and while it starts subtle, it keeps on building to a energetic climax. Hinds’ vocals and the electrifying guitars melting together are extremely powerful and we can’t get enough of this one. The song is brought to live by a perfectly fitting self-directed music video set in an abandoned train station. Be sure to check it out below!

About the new single they mention:

“Superstar” talks about the disappointment and the pain you feel when someone you love deeply disappears with no explanation. You feel worthless, you start thinking you never really knew that person, and you question your shared past and if what you remember really happened. It’s hard to let people go, but writing this song helped. People need closure, and this song is ours.

Superstar‘ is out now on all platforms. ‘VIVA HINDS‘ arrives September 6th via Lucky Number Music.
