It’s a natural evolution for the Mexican artist, who grew up steeped in indie sleaze and now gets to reimagine it on her own terms—with the very artists she once idolized.

The track arrives alongside a video directed by Girl Ultra herself and features Empress Of taking the spotlight with magnetic charm. Together, they breathe life into ‘Tomás’, a song about mourning and mocking the ghost of an archetypal ex.
