We’ve been loving JADE’s solo releases lately and of course, Confidence Man remain one of our all-time faves. Especially after dropping one of last year’s best records with ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’. Now, the two forces have come together for what can only be described as our official summer smash: ‘gossip’.

The track is everything you’d hope for from this unexpected but brilliant combo. It’s full of pulsing synths, cheeky vocals and a hook that refuses to leave your head. Janet Planet and JADE trade lines with sass and style, while the beat stays hot enough to melt any dancefloor. Somewhere in the mix, there’s even an acoustic guitar moment… and weirdly, it works.

Just as playful as the track is the music video, a camp and chaotic visual feast that doubles down on the glamour and absurdity Confidence Man are known for.

With JADE’s debut album ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ out this September and Confidence Man continuing their unstoppable rise, ‘gossip’ is just pure pop perfection.
