Puerto Rican indie duo Buscabulla return with their long-awaited second album, Se Amaba Así, arriving June 13 via Domino Recording Co. Today’s lead single, ‘El Camino’, sets the tone for a record that explores the sweetness and shadows of modern love.

We’ve been following Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle since their debut EP and back in 2020 they unveiled their brilliant first album ‘Regresa’. After last year’s ’11:11′, the duo is now fully back and we’re so excited! ‘El Camino’ is another smash from Buscabulla, delivering dramatic disco guitars and Raquel’s distinctive vocals shine like always.

“We took the decided approach to turn inward, to ourselves, and explore the struggles of not only our own romantic relationship but romantic relationships in general,” she adds. “Wrestling between traditional versus modern ideas of love, Se Amaba Así is a cathartic, self-reflective journey of songs influenced by Latin and tropical genres of the past seen through a contemporary lens.”
