Norwegian pop star Annie is finally back with brand new music! Last we heard from Annie was back in 2015 when she released her glistening summer EP “Endless Vacation“. 2020 sees the singer return with “American Cars“. It’s the first single taken from her highly anticipated new album “Dark Hearts“. The record comes eleven years after the release of her last full length “Don’t Stop“!

While a lot of Annie’s music is probably best described as feel-good, bubblegum synthpop, she’s aiming for darker direction with “American Cars”. The new release is a late night jam that’s perfect to listen to while being surround in complete darkness. Just close your eyes and let those mesmerizing and crystal clear vocals take you on a synthwave journey. New single “American Cars” is another sublime track in the already amazing back-catalogue of Annie. We are loving this new direction and can’t wait to hear more!

Annie’s forthcoming album “Dark Hearts” is produced by Stefan Storm (The Sound Of Arrows) and arrives October 16 this year.
