Pet Owner returned last year with the single ‘Tunnel Eye’, and now she’s back with new music from her sophomore album. ‘Mind Tricks’ is taken from Second Nature, which is out now, and it feels like a calm but confident continuation of her sound.

The song itself is very dreamy, with lush vocals that immediately draw you in. I especially love how it subtly picks up speed in the chorus, giving the track a bit of lift without breaking its calm atmosphere. It’s understated, warm and quietly catchy.

I’ve only had a first listen to the album so far, but it sounds great. Really looking forward to spending more time with it and diving in deeper. ‘Second Nature’ is out now on all platforms via Red Brick Records.
