Berlin-based artist Aircraft is back with a brand new single, titled ‘Orphan’. We saw Aircraft perform earlier this year at Eurosonic and he completely mesmerized us. So we’re thrilled to hear his new single ‘Orphan’. Clocking in at over 7 minutes, it’s a rare gem in today’s fast-paced music world, and yet not a second feels wasted. The track is dreamy, nostalgic, melancholic, and cinematic all at once. It feels like stepping into a soundscape you never want to leave, like stumbling upon a long-lost classic.

We love the emotive vocals and the powerful contrast between the darker, brooding verses and the more euphoric, pop-leaning chorus. It’s a balance that works beautifully. Aircraft continues to explore the sweet spot between lo-fi new wave and synthpop melancholy, and ‘Orphan’ might just be one of our favourites releases yet.
