Rasmus Littauer aka School of X has just released his new single, ‘I Wanna Dive in the Seven Seas’ ahead of his upcoming album ‘Seventh Heaven’, dropping on November 1st via Tambourhinoceros. The new single follows the previously shared ‘Bad Design’ and ‘Caroline‘.
Every single released so far from ‘Seventh Heaven’ is a perfect slice of indie pop. On his new single, School of X delivers another beautiful and infectious track. Blending acoustic guitars with catchy pop melodies and airy strings. The introspective, yet energetic song is about the push and pull between everyday routines and the desires to take risks. ‘I Wanna Dive in the Seven Seas’ comes alongside a music video directed by Albert Hildebrandt.
About the new single School of X mentions:
“It’s about constantly wanting more out of life and having the urge to push your limits, even though you tell yourself: I have to calm down now,” Rasmus Littauer says about the single.
I’ve always strived to reach the seventh heaven. To be truly happy without any pain or worries. I understand more and more how life is like a scale that needs to be balanced. Gradually, I’ve come to believe the solution is to become better friends with the darkness, and in that way, let the light prevail. Maybe that’s the way to reach the seventh heaven.”
“I Wanna Dive in the Seven Seas” is available now all platforms. School of X’s new album ‘Seventh Heaven‘ arrives November 1st via Tambourhinoceros.
