The HAIM sisters are back with a brand new track! ‘Summer Girl’ is band’s first release since their 2017 album ‘Something To Tell You‘.
The Rostam produced track will instantly put you in a good mood! The uplifting sound, including a saxophone and catchy humming is a breath of fresh air and just sparkles with joy. The song is inspired by Lou Reed’s ‘Walk On The Wild Side’ and was created for Danielle Haim’s partner when she found out he had cancer. “I wanted to be his sunshine. His summer when he was feeling dark and his hope when he was feeling hopeless.”
The video for ‘Summer Girl‘ is shot by the amazing Paul Thomas Anderson and sees the sisters walking down the streets of LA while shedding their clothes until they’re fully Summer ready.
