One of our favourite alternative pop artists is Carla dal Forno. Every release so far has been pure quality music. So we are extremely excited the London-based artist is getting ready to release her next album ‘Look Up Sharp‘. Due October 4th on her own Kallista Records. Along with this announcement Carla just shared the precious new song ‘Took A Long Time‘.

‘Took a Long Time‘ instantly transports you into Carla’s compelling universe. In it’s 5:30 minutes long you are slowly drifting and dreaming away to the lush soundscapes and Carla’s vocal delivery. The song’s about meeting someone and not knowing if they actually like you too. A situation we’re all too familiar with. If Twin Peaks was still on air, we are sure ‘Took A Long Time‘ would be performed in the town’s Roadhouse bar!
