Frankfurt band Sun’s Sons share a brand new single titled ‘What You Need’. The band consists of multi-instrumentalists Lasse Kuhl, Sorin Della Monica, Marius Wunderlich, Sammy Wahlandt and Kyle Kahraman. The new track follows the band’s other 2023 single ‘Walking for Ages’ and both songs are taken from their upcoming debut album.

‘What You Need’ is our first introduction to this rising band and we are in love with the instrumentation and vocal delivery. Even though the song’s quite short, the band really delivers one hell of a tune. It’s perfectly showcases their talent for production, vocals and songwriting. ‘What You Need’ balances between upbeat indie-pop and a touch of melancholia. Together with the new release the band also unveiled a beautifully shot and performed live performance which you can watch below. We are intrigued to see what else these talented newcomers have to offer!

The first version of this song is nearly three years old and it has changed so much since then. playing “What You Need” live really shaped the sound of it and maybe it would have stayed unreleased forever if we didn’t receive such overwhelming feedback. After every concert we played in the last two years, at least one person came to us to ask where this song can be found. We felt how you felt how much fun we always have while playing it live and we hope you also feel something when you listen to the new studio version. thank you so much for all the support, this one’s to all the beautiful people who believed in us throughout the last years!
