Last month we were pleasantly surprised when we first heard about Elodie Gervaise and her extremely infectious single “IMYG“. Now, the French – Australian artist delivers her sophomore EP called “Syzygy” and shares an accompanying music video for the opening track “Urgence“.

Besides the brilliant “IMYG”, there’s three new tracks on “Syzygy”. It’s a great collection and perfect introduction into the mesmerizing soundscape of Elodie Gervaise. The opening track “Urgence” is a stunning song in which Elodie slows things down, letting her lush vocals shine against a haunting production. Another highlight of the EP is “Free Babe” which is a perfect continuation of “IMYG” and another electronic banger. Closing “Syzygy” is the hypnotic “Bienvenue“. We are loving the sound of Elodie Gervaise and this EP is a great listening experience from beginning till end. We are keeping our fingers crossed for a full length project in the near future!
