London-based duo Atelier Blue recently shared their new single ‘Empty Lungs‘, the follow-up to their debut single ‘Haunted‘ released earlier this year.

The rising duo consisting of Olivia McShane and Alex Bloomfield create Mood Pop, as they describe it themselves. A term very fitting to the sound of Atelier Blue. ‘Empty Lungs‘ immediately sets that mood when singer Olivia keeps asking herself ”Why can’t I get what I want?“. The repeating of that sentence hits hard and the singers’ angelic vocals shine over its lovely synth production. It’s a slow burner but once the groovy guitar riffs kicks in you instantly start tapping your feet to the sounds of ‘Empty Lungs’
