In anticipation of her debut album ‘Immunity’, Clairo just shared a new single before the album drops August 2nd. On ‘Sofia‘ the singer is exploring her sexuality with women. Wether it’s a real love or fantasizing about stars like Sofia Coppola. Clairo sings in the chorus: “I think we could do it if we try. If only to say good night. Sofia know that you and I shouldn’t feel like a crime”. It’s an anthem for queer love and social acceptance.

Sofia‘ is just liker her previously released ‘Bags‘ produced by the amazing multi-instrumentalist Rostam. The distorted guitar riffs and drums are once again provided by Danielle Haim. The track is a hypnotic and infectious pop song, proving that Clairo and Rostam are a golden duo when it comes to creating music.
